Classroom Salon is a great collaborative digital environment for writers where annotations and comments about their writing can be seen in a dynamic group setting. Writers can publish and comment on each others writing with feedback showing up in an easy to use and slick online interface. Plus it's hosted by Carnegie Mellon University.
